Recently, Changsha's "Changyi Double Track to Xinglian Road Major Passage Project (crossing the river section) design and construction general contracting bidding announcement" was officially announced. According to the tender announcement, the total investment of the project is about 3.9 billion, and the planned total construction period is 1,170 days. Construction is planned to start on July 1, 2021.
The project has a total length of 5.475 kilometers. The starting point of the bridge is about 280 meters west of Yinshan Road, and it ends about 170 meters west of the Tokyo-Guangzhou Railway Bridge. The design speed of the passage is 60km/h (50km/h in the east section of the river), the standard section of the approach bridges on both sides of the river is 25m wide, with six-lane two-way; the slow-running system across the Xiangjiang River is set up with a two-way eight-lane design, and the bridge deck has a traffic width of 35.5m.
Route along Yinxing Road in Hexi, then across Yinxingwan Park and Xiangjiang River, and along Xinglian Road in the east of Hedong. The layout of the auxiliary roads under the main line bridges fits the existing Yinxing Road and Xinglian routes, basically guaranteeing the existing The number of road lanes. Parallel ramps of Yinxing Road, North Xiaoxiang Road, Xiangjiang North Road, and Xinglian Road parallel ramps are set up across the line to realize traffic transfer to Yinshan Road, Xiaoxiang North Road, Xiangjiang North Road, and Furong North Road.
