Brazilian state-owned company Petrobras has received bids worth more than US$4 billion to divest the Albacora and Albacora Leste oil fields. The concession is located in the deep waters of the Campos Basin off Brazil.

Petrobras is the 100% operator of the field, which will produce an average of 23,200 barrels (bpd) of oil and 408,500 cubic meters (m3/d) of natural gas per day in 2020.
The Albacora Leste oil field is located between 1000-2150m in water depth and is distributed in the northern part of the Campos Basin, covering an area of 511.5km 2. In 2020, it will produce 30,900 barrels of oil and 598,000 m3/d of natural gas per day on average.
