Indian infrastructure company TATA Projects Limited announced that it has obtained approximately 9 billion Indian rupees (120 million US dollars) worth of 400KV dual-circuit transmission line projects from Bangladesh Grid Corporation to enter the field of transmission and distribution (T&D) in Bangladesh. This 120-kilometer project from Barapukuria to Bogura has been awarded. The project will be implemented within 30 months, and the funds will be provided by the Export-Import Bank of India in accordance with India's credit line.
