On March 10, 2022, in Minning Town, Yinchuan City, Ningxia, the first foundation of the Helan Mountain-Diannong 220 kV line project constructed by State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Yinchuan Power Supply Company was successfully poured, which means that the Yinchuan Power Grid Infrastructure Project in 2022 was completed. Entering the stage of full-scale construction, this move has opened a new journey of modern first-class power grid construction.

The Helan Mountain-Diannong 220 kV line project is one of the five sub-projects of the Diannong 220 kV power transmission and transformation project. The Diannong 220kV power transmission and transformation project has a total investment of 601 million yuan, which is the largest project invested by Yinchuan Power Grid in the past 10 years. The difficulty and the complex construction environment involve Yinchuan and Qingtongxia, mainly supplying power to the factories of Ningxia’s key investment attraction projects such as Ningxia Zhonghuan Photovoltaic Materials Co., Ltd., Yinchuan LONGi Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. and Ningxia Xinjingsheng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. It is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2022.

In order to create a company-level high-quality project of the State Grid, implement the management concept of model guide and pilot first process, and ensure the smooth construction of the first foundation foundation, the project personnel of Yinchuan Power Supply Company conducted a full preliminary investigation, combined with factors such as geological landforms, local environment, and on-site traffic.
