On October 14, 2022, a joint venture formed by China Nengjian Gezhouba Group and Botswana Liankai Construction Co., LTD. (UNIK) won the contract for the spot exchange project of Phase 2.2 Phase 3 of the North to South Water Diversion Project in Botswana, successfully breaking through the country market of Botswana.

The project is located between Palapai and Maharapai, Botswana, and is an important livelihood project in Botswana. The project mainly includes the construction of a 79.6 km long steel water pipeline with a diameter of 1200 mm and auxiliary facilities. The project funds come from Botswana's own budget.

This project is an important achievement of deep integration into the "One Body, Two Wings" overseas priority development system of China NengJian under the guidance of China Nengjian International Business priority and high-quality coordinated development strategy, and strengthening cooperation with third markets, realizing the deep and rolling development of the East and South Africa market.
