At the beginning of the new year, CNBM and Turkey's SISECAM Group signed an engineering design contract for an 800-ton ultra-clear photovoltaic glass production line project.

According to reports, this signing is the first important achievement after the strategic meeting held in Istanbul on October 13, 2022 between Peng Shou, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, chief engineer of CNBM, and chairman of CNBM, and Mr. Gorkem Elverici, CEO of Turkey's SISECAM Group. In 2010, after CNBM built SISECAM India's 600-ton high-quality float glass production line per day, it once again cooperated with it on the high-end glass production line project.

Glass production line project

The proposed ultra-clear photovoltaic glass project with a daily output of 800 tons is the first large-tonnage ultra-clear photovoltaic glass production line of SISECAM Group. In view of CNBM's core technology and impressive performance in the field of large-tonnage ultra-clear photovoltaic glass, SISECAM Group chose CNBM as its strategic partner to further develop the photovoltaic glass market.

Turkey's SISECAM Group has float lines and high-end automotive glass processing lines in many countries in Europe and Asia, and is also the only global glass manufacturer that operates in the global flat glass, glassware and bottle glass fields. Editor/He Yuting
