Recently, the feasibility study report of the Luzhou-Gulin Expressway project was approved by the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission. It is reported that this is the first expressway project in Sichuan that can be approved in 2023.
Luzhou-Gulin Expressway
According to reports, the Luzhou-Gulin expressway project route starts near Quba, Naxi District, Luzhou City, connects to G76 Xiarong Expressway, passes through Tianxian Town, Dagu Town, Naxi District, Xianglin Town, Dashi Town, Xuyong County, Gulin Huangjing Town and Deyao Town in the county end at Yongle Street (formerly Yongle Town), connecting Xuyong-Gulin Expressway and the Gulin-Jinsha Expressway under construction.
The total length of the route is about 100.2 kilometers. The entire line adopts the technical standard of two-way six-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 33.5 meters. Quba (Xiarong Junction), Baijie, Dagu, Xianglin, Chaoyang (Yuxuyun Junction), and painting are set up along the entire line. There are 9 interchanges in Xixi, Huangjing, Gulin and Yongle (Xugu Junction), 1 parking area and 2 service areas. Simultaneous construction of 6 interchange connecting lines along the whole line, with a total of about 19.7 kilometers.
The Gulin Interconnection Line adopts the first-class road technical standard, with a design speed of 60 km/h and a roadbed width of 20 meters;
The Baijie Interconnection Line adopts the technical standard of secondary roads, with a design speed of 60 km/h and a roadbed width of 10 meters;
The remaining 4 interconnection lines adopt the technical standard of third-class highways, with a design speed of 40 km/h and a roadbed width of 8.5 meters.
The Luzhou-Gulin Expressway is an important part of the road from Chengdu to Guiyang, passing through Luzhou, Gulin and Guiyang. The estimated total investment of the project is about 30.056 billion yuan, and it is planned to start construction in 2023. Editor/He Yuting
