The winning bid for the renovation and expansion project of the Xiaogan Suizhou section of the Fuyin Expressway, a key transportation construction project in Hubei Province, has been officially announced recently. The total investment of the project is about 19.4 billion yuan, marking a new stage in the upgrading and transformation of the expressway network in Hubei Province. The project starts from Huachu Bay in Xiaonan District, Xiaogan City, Hubei Province and ends at Guanyinyan Village in Suixian County, Suizhou City. It is 153 kilometers long and constructed according to the standard of a two-way eight lane expressway with a design speed of 120 kilometers per hour. The main implementation method is double-sided widening, and some sections are separated and newly built.
The project is divided into two main parts: the Xiaogan section and the Suizhou section. The Xiaogan section is 83 kilometers long with an investment of approximately 11.5 billion yuan, involving the reconstruction of 7 interchanges and the construction of 3 new ones; The Suizhou section is 70 kilometers long with an investment of approximately 7.9 billion yuan, including the reconstruction of 6 interchanges and 1 new construction.
The winning bidders this time are all well-known domestic state-owned construction enterprises, among which China Communications Second Highway Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. won the bid for FYXSTJ-2 section, China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. won the bid for FYXSTJ-3 section, China Communications Construction Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for FYXSTJ-4 section, and China Railway Investment and Construction Group Co., Ltd. won the bid for FYXSTJ-5 section.
This project will renovate and expand the existing two-way four lane expressway.
