On June 9, 2026, the second phase of the Shenzhen Guangming Hongqiao Park Flash Charging Demonstration Station of Southern Power Grid was put into operation, adding 14 V2G charging piles and becoming the largest megawatt level vehicle network interactive flash charging station in China. All charging stations on the entire site support vehicle network interaction, which enables bidirectional energy flow between vehicles and the power grid. The site also integrates a drone nest for power inspection, greatly improving inspection efficiency. The site gathers three national pioneering technologies, and since the first phase of operation, the service train numbers and charging capacity have been considerable. After the expansion of the second phase, the energy replenishment and operation and maintenance capabilities have been further upgraded.Editor/Gong Ziwei
