On June 20, 2023, China released a completely self-developed new generation of visual systems, integrating gaming technology and virtual image display technology to achieve a key breakthrough in self-developed technology. As a result, China became the third country to be able to independently develop visual systems. On the same day, China's first aviation safety and simulation research laboratory was listed in Zhuhai and officially released China's first fully self-developed full motion flight simulator visual system. The overall achievements of this project are at the international advanced level, achieving a breakthrough in key technologies of the self-developed visual system.

It is understood that the first fully self-developed full motion flight simulator visual system developed this time is the world's first new generation visual system based on game technology and self-developed virtual image display technology, which makes China reach the Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation's advanced level in the field of visual engine hyper realistic simulation, high optical performance virtual image technology and other fields of the full motion flight simulator visual system.

As the main equipment for civil aviation pilot training, the full motion flight simulator is usually composed of five parts, namely, simulation cockpit, Motor system, visual system, computer system and instructor console. Among them, the visual system, also known as environmental visualization, is one of the most crucial parts used to simulate the scene seen during flight.

It is reported that the new generation visual system released this time can rebuild a city of 2000 square kilometers in half a day, build an airport in three days, improve the efficiency of digital asset production by more than 30 times, and enhance polygon generation and rendering capabilities by more than a hundred times, making China's full motion flight simulator the first to achieve intergenerational upgrades globally.
