On the morning of October 7, 2023, the construction project of the A-ramp subgrade test section of the third section of the Ningjing section of the Anjing Expressway officially began at the boundary of Huafeng Village in Jingyang Town. It is reported that this experimental section is also the first construction site for the entire Anjing Expressway line, representing the official entry into the construction and production stage of the third section of Anjing Expressway.

The third bid project of the Ningjing section of the Anjing Expressway is undertaken by China Communications Tunnel Bureau, with a total length of 8.9 kilometers and a total investment of 438 million yuan. It spans Yucun Town and Jingyang Town in Jingde County, involving 6 villages, and has 7 main bridges along the entire line, including one interchange and one service area each. The total length of the roadbed is 6439.5 meters. The total length of the bridge is 2460.5 meters, with a bridge tunnel ratio of 27%. There are 17 integrated slab culverts, totaling 477.3 meters, 14 slab channel culverts, totaling 609.4 meters, and some pavement works for road modifications. The planned construction period is 24 months.

Anjing Expressway is an important part of the expressway network in Anhui Province. It connects G4012 Li Ning Expressway and S11 Wu Huang Expressway. It is a tourist fast track from the developed areas of "Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai" to the "Mount Huangshan Mountain and Taiping Lake" in the east, helping to speed up the construction of a strong transportation province and "Anhui on the expressway". After the completion of the project, it will further improve the structure of the expressway network, leverage the scale efficiency of the road network, fully integrate into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, accelerate connectivity with the Yangtze River Delta region, improve the external transportation connection of Jingde, continue to drive the socio-economic and transportation development along the line, and alleviate the traffic pressure of National Highway G330.
