CPK, responsible for the construction of the new hub airport and supporting railway network in Poland, is making every effort to promote the construction of a high-speed railway connecting Warsaw and Łó d ź. As the core of Poland's national transportation strategy, this 14.3 kilometer route is not isolated, but a key part of the Y-shaped highway network - in the future, it will extend westward to Pozna ń and southward to Wroc ł aw, building a high-speed rail backbone that connects central Poland. As the second round of bidding begins, this modernization project aimed at replacing old infrastructure is gradually moving from blueprint to reality.

Segmented tackling and technical standards
This bidding focuses on the section between the airport intersection and the Bolimovsky intersection, and the bidding deadline is set for June 12th. Unlike traditional construction general contracting, this contract adopts an optimization and construction mode, which means that the winning bidder is not only responsible for civil construction, but also needs to complete the preparation of detailed design documents first.
The technical specifications are extremely strict: the maximum operating speed of the line design is 350 kilometers per hour, and the construction content covers 55 structures, including large bridges, overpasses, drainage culverts, and specialized wildlife passages. To ensure the quality of the project and the optimal solution, CPK has adopted the previous two-stage bidding mechanism: first, a preliminary selection is made, and then the final winner is determined through competitive dialogue from up to five contractors.
Multi line integration and accelerated construction
The construction pace of high-speed rail in Poland is accelerating comprehensively. At the beginning of this month, CPK just completed the bid opening work for the 12.9-kilometer section of Line 85 from Kotovice to the airport, and received 6 bids from 17 contractors. The bidding for this section started at the beginning of this year. Keywords: railway transportation, infrastructure

As early as last year, the tunnel construction contract in the Łó d ź area had already been awarded to Porr Austria. From tunnel excavation to roadbed laying, and now to the bidding of the Warsaw to Łó d ź mainline, CPK is trying to make up for Poland's historical debt in the high-speed railway field in a short period of time with a multi-point blooming trend.Editor/Cheng Liting
