CNOOC Engineering, a leader in China's offshore oil engineering field, recently announced the official signing of the RUYA EPCI 09 general contracting project contract with Qatar National Oil Corporation (NOC). According to this contract, CNOOC Engineering will undertake a series of complex and comprehensive engineering tasks. The company not only needs to carry out project management work, but also needs to complete detailed engineering design, equipment procurement, construction, transportation arrangements, installation and commissioning, and other aspects. Specifically, CNOOC Engineering will be responsible for the engineering work of 38 submarine pipelines and 9 submarine composite cables within the AI Shaheen oilfield area in Qatar. These pipelines and cables are critical facilities for the transportation of oil and natural gas, and are crucial for ensuring the stability and safety of Qatar's oil production. CNOOC Engineering will be responsible for the entire process from design to installation and commissioning, ensuring that these facilities can operate efficiently and safely.

The contract amount for this project is approximately $900 million, equivalent to approximately RMB 6.4 billion.
