The project is constructed by the Management Committee of Caofeidian Chemical Industrial Park, located in the chemical park of Caofeidian District, Tangshan City. The specific scope includes south of the North Ring Road of Petrochemical, north of the North Second Road of Petrochemical, east of Petrochemical Middle Road, and west of Petrochemical East Road. It is located in the core industrial layout area of the park. The project construction scale covers an area of 2.828456 million square meters, approximately 4243 acres. The construction standard is set to have a foundation bearing capacity of ≥ 120kPa and an elevation of+4.8m, fully meeting the requirements for the construction of large-scale petrochemical plants. The construction period is planned to be 7 months, and it is expected to be fully completed and delivered before the end of the year.

The project name is Fuhai Tangshan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. Methanol Naphtha Coupling to Olefins Project, located in Caofeidian District, Tangshan City. It is a new construction project with a total investment of approximately 35 billion yuan. This project adopts the technology route of methanol naphtha coupled cracking and light hydrocarbon cracking, constructing a 1 million tons/year methanol naphtha coupled cracking unit. The methanol naphtha coupled cracking part processes methanol and naphtha, with an annual output of 350000 tons of ethylene. The light hydrocarbon cracking part processes ethane, propane, butane and some purchased butane produced by the coupled cracking unit, with an annual output of 650000 tons of ethylene.
