On February 7, the Administrative Office of Xingan League of Inner Mongolia signed a cooperation development agreement with CGN Wind Power Co., LTD., and China Chemical Construction Investment Group Co., LTD., on the integration project of hydrogen and methanol production from 2 million kW wind power of Xingan League of CGN. CGN Xingan League 2 million kW wind power hydrogen to methanol integration project with a total investment of about 16 billion yuan, the annual production of green methanol about 800,000 tons. The first phase of the 1 million kilowatt wind power project is planned to be implemented in 2024-2025, with an annual output of about 400,000 tons of green methanol.
