On March 23rd, ten trucks loaded with export goods passed through the customs intelligent exit checkpoint at the Turgat port and departed for Kyrgyzstan. This marks that Tuergat Port officially operates the "port through" mode, becoming the third highway port in Xinjiang to implement this mode after Alashankou Port and Khorgos Port.

The "Port Direct" mode supports goods to be declared to the customs during transportation, with customs review, risk analysis, and other operational processes in advance. It enables vehicles to obtain information on goods inspection or release upon arrival at centralized inspection sites, reducing the storage and waiting processes of goods in port supervision sites, and effectively compressing port passage time.

The port direct mode supports intelligent recognition of vehicle numbers from multiple countries at checkpoints, achieving centralized inspection of locations and automatic verification of vehicle release information at national checkpoints, reducing manual operations such as declaration and transmission of information by port warehousing enterprises. Xia Yongtao, the head of the supervision department of Turgat Customs, said that after the operation of the "Port Direct" mode, the customs clearance process for export vehicles at Turgat Highway Port has been compressed from 12 items to 4 items, with a reduction of 70% in clearance time.

"Compared to before, this batch of goods has saved at least half a day of time for export, greatly saving labor and time costs," said Yang Long, the field manager of Xinjiang Hengyun Tongda International Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd.

The "Port Direct" mode follows the regulatory concept of early declaration of goods, intelligent identification of vehicle information, and centralized inspection of goods. Through intensive management and intelligent supervision applications, it realizes the automation of declaration information and manual operation, ultimately achieving a significant reduction in customs clearance time, effective cost reduction for enterprises, and improved customs clearance efficiency.

Ma Xiaoyong, Deputy Director of Turgat Customs, stated that the customs will actively participate in the upgrading and renovation of the port this year, continuously optimize the customs clearance process, strengthen close cooperation with relevant units at the port, and focus on solving the difficulties and pain points of enterprises, so that the majority of enterprises can truly feel the dividends of reform.
