On May 14, 2024, the subsubstation of the Beihai Tieshan Port Fertilizer Warehouse project, which is under construction by the First Aviation Bureau of China Communications, completed all the power transmission work, and the project construction officially entered the equipment debugging stage, and the sprint to complete and put into use.

"The substation is the 'heart' of the power supply system. The Beihai Tieshan Port fertilizer Warehouse project has a total of 3 substations, which can provide power for the mechanical and electrical equipment and facilities in the project warehouse." Yang Pengtao, deputy manager of the Beihai Tieshan Port fertilizer Warehouse project of the First Aviation Bureau of China Communications, introduced that in order to ensure the success of a power transmission at the substation, the construction team detailed the power transmission scheme, clarified the power transmission process, steps, safety technical measures and emergency plans, and strictly implemented the relevant operations in accordance with the scheduled plan.

"Since the project started, the project department has anchored the task node target and steadily promoted the project construction. The successful completion of the power transmission work of the substation has laid a good foundation for the completion of the sprint project." Yang Pengtao introduced that the Beihai Tieshan Port fertilizer warehouse project is a major project promoted by the autonomous region, and three new mechanical fertilizer warehouses are built, and their supporting equipment such as belt conveyor system, box tilter, air pressure system, power supply system, central control system and so on. After the completion of the project, it will become the first professional fertilizer warehouse in Beihai port, which can further meet the demand for fertilizers shipped by ship, improve the storage and passing capacity of fertilizers in the Tieshan Port area of Beihai Port, enhance the ability of Beihai Terminal to provide high-quality and efficient cargo transportation services for harbor enterprises, and enhance the service competitiveness of Beihai Terminal.
