On March 27, 2024, the reconstruction project of the No. 9 Oil and Liquid Chemical Terminal under Tianjin Lingang Weierhao Petrochemical Terminal Co., Ltd. officially began, marking the substantial stage of the construction of this major project. This project is located in the core area of the petrochemical operation area in Dagukou Port Area, Tianjin Port, and has an extremely important strategic position.

This renovation project will add about 31 meters of shoreline length, which will greatly improve the operational capacity and efficiency of the dock. After the renovation is completed, the berthing capacity of the dock will leap from the original 50000 ton level to 100000 ton level, achieving a qualitative leap. At the same time, the throughput capacity of the port will also double, from the original 1.83 million tons/year to 4.1 million tons/year. This change will greatly enhance the overall service capacity of the port and inject new vitality into the development of Tianjin Port.
