[Jiangsu Kunyu electrochemical energy storage project started] On April 11, Jiangsu Kunyu Electrochemical energy Storage Project groundbreaking activity was held in Yangkou Port Economic Development Zone. County Party Secretary Chen Huiyu, deputy secretary of the county Party Committee, county governor Chen Lei, county People's Congress Standing Committee Party secretary Chen Changlong, county People's Congress Standing Committee director Jiang Shujian, county Party Committee deputy Secretary Xu Jinbiao and other county four sets of team leaders were invited to participate in the activity, and to start the foundation for the project. Jiangsu Kunyu Electrochemical Energy storage project is invested by Kunyu Power Co., LTD. The total investment of the project is 4.5 billion yuan, covers an area of 300 acres, and the annual output of electrochemical energy storage battery is 12GWh after completion, and the annual sales revenue is about 6 billion yuan after production. As an important part of the new energy industry chain of Yangkou Port, since the signing of the project in September last year, the government and enterprises have closely communicated and collaborated to explore a new development model of "renewable resources + energy storage", which will provide a strong driving force for the county to optimize the industrial structure, extend the industrial chain, expand the industrial scale, and promote the development of industrial clusters.
