Recently, the Metro Group of Tianjin Rail Transit Group has made remarkable achievements on the international stage. They successfully signed the consulting service contract for the first phase of the light rail project of the new transportation system in Astana City, the capital of Kazakhstan, which marks the solid step taken by Tianjin Rail Transit Group in promoting the infrastructure construction of the "Belt and Road" country.

This cooperation is not achieved overnight, but after a long time of careful preparation and unremitting efforts. In March this year, a research delegation from Kazakhstan Rail Transit visited Tianjin Rail Transit Group and the two sides had in-depth exchanges and discussions on cooperation issues. Subsequently, Tianjin Rail Transit Group took active actions, lasted more than a month of high frequency docking and consultation, and finally achieved this important result.

The first phase of Astana's new transit system Light rail project, as the first urban light rail in Kazakhstan, is of great significance. With a total length of 21.39 km and 18 elevated stations along the line, the designed maximum operating speed can reach 80 km/h. This light rail line will not only connect various important areas in Astana city, but also pass through the international airport, Nazarbayev University, the Expo Park, ABU Dhabi Square, the presidential Palace, the National Museum and other landmarks, providing citizens with a more convenient and efficient way to travel.

It is worth mentioning that the project as a whole adopts Chinese technical standards for construction, which fully demonstrates the advanced nature and international competitiveness of China's rail transit technology. Tianjin Rail Transit Group, as the main technical consulting service side of the project, will give full play to its professional advantages in the field of rail transit and provide strong technical support and guarantee for the smooth implementation of the project.
