On April 16, 2024, the centralized procurement platform of Power Construction of China issued the Transaction Notice of the floating body Equipment (A-F Package) procurement project of Wanning Offshore Floating Project Prototype of Power Construction of Power Construction of China Central South Hospital.

Project profile

The EPC project of Phase 1 of the 100,000kW Wanning Floating offshore Wind Power Test Project of China Power Construction is located in the southeast sea of Wanning, Hainan. The planned site area of the project is 160km2, the planned installed capacity is 1,000,000 kW, the offshore distance of the site center is about 22km, the water depth of the site is about 100m, and a 220kV onshore booster station is built. The prototype project includes 6 wind turbines with a single capacity of 16-18MW, with a total installed capacity of about 100MW. The electric energy generated by the fan is connected to the 220kV onshore booster station through 66kV cable.

The scope of this purchase is the construction and transportation of the foundation floating body of the typhoon generator unit of Wanning Project 6, including the design and production of the foundation floating body and auxiliary structure of the wind turbine, the docking, receiving, storage, tightness test, tilt test and other related factory tests and handover tests; The purchaser shall complete the scientific research related to the FGW-PFS project as required by the purchaser, and cooperate with the purchaser to complete the excellence work related to the supporting awards; The floating body of the wind turbine foundation and the attached structure are transported to the designated place at sea.

The Deep Sea Floating offshore wind project has attracted attention for its high technical challenge, requiring the construction of stable floating platforms on rough seas and the installation of wind turbines on them.
