The Anhui Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and other five departments recently jointly issued a special support policy for the light storage industry - "Several policies to support the high-quality development of advanced photovoltaic and new energy storage industry clusters", aiming to inject strong impetus for the vigorous development of the light storage industry in the province through 19 specific measures.

The policy clearly emphasizes the support for leading enterprises, encourages these enterprises to play a leading role, and jointly carries out collaborative innovation in the industrial chain with upstream and downstream enterprises, universities, research institutes and other forces. Each year, about 20 innovative and forward-looking research and development projects will be selected to provide financial and policy support to promote technological breakthroughs and industrial upgrading in the light storage industry.

In addition, the policy also gives one-time incentives to national innovation platforms such as the newly recognized National Technology Innovation Center last year to encourage the construction and development of more innovation platforms and provide strong technical support for the light storage industry.

For the products developed and mass-produced by the enterprise, if its key indicators can refresh the world record, the policy will give the enterprise a one-time reward to encourage the enterprise to increase research and development investment, promote the improvement of product performance and reduce costs.

At the same time, the policy also clarified that advanced photovoltaic and new energy storage enterprises that meet the "photovoltaic Manufacturing industry Specification Conditions" and "lithium-ion battery industry Specification Conditions" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, as well as enterprises that enter the list of smart photovoltaic pilot demonstration enterprises for the first time, will be given a one-time reward. This initiative aims to promote the standardized development of enterprises, improve the overall level of the industry, and promote the development of the light storage industry to higher quality.
