Recently, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Transportation officially approved the construction drawing design of the Lanxi section of the Jiande-Wuyi Expressway, laying a solid foundation for the smooth start of the project. This important move not only marks substantial progress in the advancement of the project, but also heralds the further improvement of the transportation network in the Jinyi metropolitan area and the vigorous development of the regional economy.

As an important transportation link connecting Jinhua and Wuyi, the Lanxi Section of Jianwu Expressway project has a strategic position that is self-evident. The starting point of the project is located near Xucunlang, Yongchang Street, Lanxi City, passing through Chixi Street and Lanjiang Street, Lanxi City from north to south, and finally connects to the Wucheng section of the Jiande-Wuyi Expressway on the south side of Chishan Village, Shanghua Street, and is cleverly connected The area is interconnected with the Hangjin-Quzhou Expressway through Lanxi Hub. The total length of the main line is approximately 27.355 kilometers, with a design speed of up to 120km/h. It adopts the two-way six-lane highway standard and has a roadbed width of 34.5m, fully demonstrating the majesty and efficiency of a modern highway.

In addition, in order to further optimize the regional transportation layout and improve transportation convenience, the project also simultaneously constructed the Lanxi West Interconnection Line, which is approximately 1.434 kilometers long. The construction of this connection line will further strengthen the connection between Lanxi and surrounding areas, promote the development of industries and tourism resources along the line, and inject new vitality into the sustained and healthy development of the regional economy.

This project is not only a key link in improving the national comprehensive transportation hub of Jinhua (Yiwu), but also an important part of the construction of the Jinhua-Yiwu urban expressway loop. Its completion will greatly improve the transportation accessibility of Jinyi urban area, accelerate the urbanization process of Jinlan, and provide strong support for the coordinated development of regional social economy.
