On March 13, 2024, Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry completed and passed the acceptance of the remote control and automation renovation project for two ship unloaders developed for the port.

On April 21, 2024, Zhenhua 12 wheeled vehicle carrying 4 automated rail cranes slowly departed from Nantong Branch and headed to the container terminal of Huanghua Port Comprehensive Port Area to complete the first batch of equipment shipment for the automation project.

The track crane of this project has a span of 33 meters, a lifting height of 18.1 meters, and a rated load of 41 tons under the lifting equipment. It has automatic, semi-automatic, and manual operation functions.
