On April 23, 2024, Xinjiang Tianfu Guohua Manas 300MW photovoltaic project officially started, which marks the official launch of Guohua's first military-ground integrated photovoltaic green hydrogen integration demonstration project.

The project is located in Manas County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, with a planned installed capacity of 300MW. According to the plan, the project will be put into operation in July 2025, and is expected to supply about 479 million KWH of clean electricity to Shihezi Tianfu power Grid every year. Compared with a coal-fired power plant of the same size, the project will save about 140,000 tons of standard coal per year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 370,000 tons, and sulfur dioxide emissions by about 1,231 tons. The implementation of this project will not only bring significant economic benefits, but also have a positive impact on environmental protection and social sustainable development.

The overall plan of the Green hydrogen carbon reduction innovation application demonstration project of the eighth Division of the Corps supporting the project is 2 hydrogen production stations with a total scale of 4000 standard square meters/hour, 4 hydrogen refueling stations with a total of 8000 kg/day, and 200 hydrogen energy heavy trucks.

After the complete completion of the project, Guohua Investment Company will make full use of the strong power demand of Shihezi City, the vast land and rich solar energy resources of Manas County, undertake the construction and operation of photovoltaic projects, and be fully responsible for the operation of hydrogen hydrogenation station. The move aims to build a demonstration project of military-local integration between the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Corps and the local and local governments, as well as between military enterprises and central enterprises, with complementary advantages and win-win development.
