Transportation construction has always been a matter of great concern to fast-growing metropolises. Recently, three more subway extension lines in Shenzhen have started bidding, namely the fourth phase of Line 3, the second phase of Line 13 (North Extension), and the second phase of Line 11, the general contracting bid for the construction of three lines, with a total amount of 260 Billion.
The fourth phase of Line 3 is picked up by Shuanglong Station and has 7 stations, namely Liyuan, Xinsheng, Pingxi, Gaoqiao, Baishitang, Fuping and Pingdi Liulian. The contracted project is estimated at RMB 678.2 million and is scheduled to start in August 2020 and be completed in July 2025.

The second phase of Line 13 is picked up by Shangwu Station. There are 11 stations in total, namely Guangming Traditional Chinese Medicine Station, Guangming City Station, Tongguan Road Station, Sightseeing Road Station, Moon Road Station, Dongzhou Road Station, Guangming South Station, Gongming Square Station, Changchun Road Station, Xiacun Station, Gongming North Station. The estimated value of the contracted project is 137.998 million yuan, which is scheduled to start in August 2020 and be completed in July 2025.

The second phase of Line 11 is picked up by Futian Station, which has 3 stations, namely Gangxia North, Huaqiang South and Hongling South. The project is estimated to be worth 5.515 billion yuan, and is scheduled to start in August 2020 and be completed in February 2025.

The construction of this project has promoted the economic development of the peripheral areas, accelerated the integration of the peripheral areas of Shenzhen and the main urban area, eased the traffic pressure of the main urban area, and expanded the scope of the city. Editor / Duan Wenyan
