As one of the three iconic battles of the "Three North" project, the war of annihilation of the two sandy lands in Horqin and Hunshendak is now, in addition to the ecological restoration of afforestation and grass on these two sandy lands, a new "weapon" of ecological restoration has been added - 139 sea-installed wind turbines are standing upright on the 1.38 million kilowatts ecological management project in Horqin. This hot land will be green and vibrant.

Keerqin District 1.38 million kW ecological management wind power base project is located in Keerqin District and Kezuohouqi, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia, started construction on July 19, 2023, belongs to the second batch of national "Shage desert" big base construction project, the power generated by Zalute-Qingzhou ±800 DC UHV transmission channel to Shandong region consumption. After the project is connected to the grid, it is expected that the annual parity power generation will reach 2.9 billion KWH, equivalent to afforestation 160 million trees, saving 1.16 million tons of standard coal and reducing 2.89 million tons of carbon dioxide.

In the face of fierce competition in the wind power market and the backforcing of low electricity costs, large megawatt units have become a powerful weapon in the current era of winning parity. In order to better meet the construction requirements of the Tongliao ecological governance project, CSIC offshore installation combined with the local wind speed, geographical environment and climate conditions, to provide customized H193-6.25MW parity-priced units for the project. The center height of the wheel hub of the unit is 110 meters, the diameter of the impeller is 193 meters, for the low-temperature grid-connected wind turbine, in addition to high power generation, cost-effective, but also has advanced technology, reliable quality, environmentally friendly, green ecology and other advantages. At the same time, CSSC has also made efforts in wind turbine sand resistance design and long-term reliability, providing an overall solution of "wind power + sand shortage management" for wind farm construction.

Although the "Shage famine" area is rich in wind energy resources, the extreme climate and fragile ecology have brought great challenges to the construction and construction of wind farms. For this reason, CSSC has carefully organized and adopted the synchronous arrangement and simultaneous promotion of Gaolintun wind farm area and Dalin wind farm area to reverse the construction period and promote orderly, and 14 main cranes in the peak period of the two sites are carried out simultaneously. Ensure the project progress; The quality control of the whole hoisting process of the unit is realized through various forms such as law enforcement recorder and EAM, so that the installation quality of the unit can be viewed in real time, ensuring the quality and safety of the process. As Gaolintun and Dalin wind farms belong to ecological management projects, in order to build environmentally friendly and harmonious green wind farms, CSSC has also adopted a series of measures such as civilized construction, environmental management, and greening of the site to protect the flora and fauna of the site.
