Recently, the 5500 meter ultra-high altitude wind turbine independently developed by Mingyang Group was officially launched at its production base in Qinghai, marking a milestone breakthrough in the research and manufacturing of ultra-high altitude wind power equipment in China. This offline MySE5.0-193 wind turbine will be used in Sanchuan Energy's 140MW wind power project in Luozha County, Xizang, which has completely opened up the equipment card for large-scale development of wind energy resources in the ultra-high altitude region of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.

The wind energy reserves in high-altitude areas are abundant, but the extremely complex environments such as low pressure and oxygen deficiency, significant temperature differences, strong ultraviolet radiation, and strong winds and dust have posed technical challenges for wind power development, demanding extremely high standards for the weather resistance, stability, and reliability of wind turbine equipment. In view of the special plateau conditions of the wind power project in Loza County, Xizang, Mingyang Group carried out special technical breakthroughs, and successfully developed a special wind turbine unit suitable for the 5500 meter ultra-high altitude environment through all-round technical upgrading such as customized research and development of core components, optimization of overall system adaptation, and extreme environmental reliability testing, complementing the technical weakness of wind power equipment in the industry at this altitude.

The MySE5.0-193 wind turbine that landed this time has been fully optimized and upgraded for the special climate of the plateau. By equipped with a dedicated pneumatic kit, it effectively solves the problem of unstable equipment operation under low pressure and strong wind conditions. After customized improvements based on the characteristics of high-altitude wind resources and the operational needs of the power grid, the overall reliability of the unit has been increased by 20%. It can fully adapt to extreme working conditions such as low voltage, strong radiation, large temperature differences, and frequent sandstorms in high-altitude areas, and create a complete set of equipment solutions for exclusive high-altitude wind farms. The successful commissioning of this unit fully demonstrates Mingyang Group's hardcore technological strength in the field of high-altitude wind power equipment, breaking the equipment constraints of ultra-high altitude wind power development and laying a solid foundation for the commercialization and large-scale development of wind power resources on the Qinghai Tibet Plateau.
