[Vietnam released the implementation plan of the national Energy Master Plan]Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha recently issued government Decree No. 338 on approving the Implementation Plan of the National Energy Master Plan 2021-2030 and Vision 2050. The National Energy Master Plan covers industries such as oil and gas, coal, electricity, new energy and renewable energy, including activities related to energy basic investigation, exploration, exploitation, production, storage, distribution and use, according to the government order. The investment demand for the energy industry in 2021-2030 is about VND 4.13-4.8 trillion (about 1.2-1.4 billion yuan), and the government order clearly requires that all investments in energy projects use capital other than public investment. The government decree announces key and priority projects in the energy sector and their specific progress, energy potential projects and other projects. From 2021 to 2030, the land demand for energy industry infrastructure construction is about 93,000 to 97,000 hectares, and from 2031 to 2050, it is about 171,000 to 196,000 hectares. On April 16, 2026, the Wenyu section of the Hangzhou Taizhou high-speed railway officially started static acceptance, and the main project was basically completed. The main line of this section is 37 kilometers long, with a designed speed of 350 kilometers per hour and a bridge tunnel ratio of 90.34%. The rotor of Unit 3 of the Dashixia Water Conservancy Hub in Xinjiang has been successfully lifted, and the project has entered the final assembly and commissioning stage.
