On April 28, 2024, the Jinzhou zero-carbon Industrial Park project started, and Liu Kewu, Party secretary, announced the start of the project. Xie Ke, deputy general manager of China Machinery Industry Engineering Group, and Gao Ling, chairman of Yunda Energy Technology Group, attended and gave speeches to witness this important moment.

The Jinzhou Zero Carbon Industrial Park project is a large-scale project focusing on the field of new energy. The project is jointly invested by China Machinery Industry Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and Yunda Energy Technology Group Co., LTD., with a total investment of 5.6 billion yuan. The main goal of the project is to focus on the integrated development of Jinzhou new energy production, transportation, storage and marketing, and to build a new energy storage battery production line and recycling production line. The project is planned to be constructed in two phases, and the annual output value is expected to reach 10 billion yuan after completion. It not only plays a role in promoting the new energy industry of Jinzhou City, but also is a specific action for Jinzhou City to implement the national carbon peak and carbon neutral strategic goals.

The Jinzhou Zero Carbon Industrial Park project aims to become a model of energy transformation and promote the leapfrog development of Jinzhou in the field of new technologies, new models and new business forms. The project is located in the west of Jinzhou Digital City, the first phase of the project will focus on the construction of new energy storage batteries, especially the production line of vanadium liquid energy storage batteries, and will also build an advanced research center, talent training base, and plans to expand the manufacturing base of new battery energy storage industry. These measures will provide strong support for Jinzhou's energy transformation and industrial upgrading.

In his speech, Wang Xinyu first expressed warm congratulations on the start of the project on behalf of Jinzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal government. He mentioned that Jinzhou's geographical location is superior, located at the throat, with the unique advantage of connecting the China-Mongolian-Russia Economic Corridor and direct access to Haikou, which makes Jinzhou actively planning to become a green energy hub port in northern China. In order to achieve this goal, Jinzhou will comprehensively promote the integration strategy of new energy production, transportation, storage, marketing and use. Jinzhou City will make full use of its rich scenery resources, adhere to the project as the core, to attract investment as the focus, to project landing as the key, to serve enterprises as the purpose, to promote a number of new energy industry projects as soon as possible and produce benefits. This will not only provide a strong driving force for the high-quality development of Jinzhou's economy, but also attract more production factors to gather in Jinzhou and attract more visionary entrepreneurs to choose Jinzhou as a hot land for investment.
