At the construction site of the million kilowatt wind storage base project in Tuquan County, Inner Mongolia, workers are distributed in their respective work areas and are orderly pouring the foundation of the first wind turbine. Various construction tasks are being carried out in an orderly manner.

"This project installs 100 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 10MW. Today marks the first wind turbine foundation pouring, which also indicates the official start of construction for this project. After the project is completed, it will pay local taxes of over 60 million yuan annually, driving the annual employment of more than 1000 people." said Wu Xiangbao, the project leader of the million kilowatt wind storage base in Tuquan County, Inner Mongolia Energy.

It is understood that the project is constructed by Inner Mongolia Mengneng Liquan Energy Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 4.52 billion yuan. The installed capacity is 1 million kilowatts, which will play an important role in enhancing energy supply guarantee capabilities, promoting green energy transformation, building a new power system, and helping to achieve the "dual carbon" goals. It will also effectively promote local and surrounding economic development, achieving a win-win situation for environmental and social benefits.

Tuquan County has always seized the strategic opportunity of the country, Inner Mongolia, and Xing'an League to vigorously promote the development of the new energy industry, made good use of policies to fully utilize the development of the new energy industry, and actively developed new energy industry projects. Establish a mechanism for direct communication between the government and enterprises, actively play the role of a bridge, provide proactive services, and fully promote project construction.

"As of now, there are a total of 10 new energy enterprises in Tuquan County, including 5 photovoltaic enterprises with a total installed capacity of 324300 kilowatts and 5 wind power enterprises with a total installed capacity of 597000 kilowatts. Tuquan County is accelerating the construction of new energy industry projects and striving to 'drive the new energy industry into the fast lane'." Li Jing, the head of infrastructure stock of Tuquan County Development and Reform Commission, introduced.
