The China-Europe freight train from Urumqi to Salerno, Italy, has been officially launched, which not only marks a new wing of the logistics channel between China and Europe, but also opens up a new fast channel for Chinese agricultural products to export to Europe.

Under the warm spring sun, a China-Europe train loaded with fresh agricultural products slowly pulled out of Urumqi's Sanping Container Center station. This train, loaded with the sincerity and enthusiasm of the Chinese people, crossed the vast Central Asian continent, crossed the ripening Caspian Sea, the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, and finally arrived in the remote Salerno, Italy. The entire running distance is about 10,000 kilometers, which is not only a geographical leap, but also an important milestone in Sino-European trade cooperation.

The opening of this new line not only provides a new opportunity for the "going global" strategy made in China, but also lays a solid foundation for the regular transportation of the Nantong Corridor of China-Europe Express trains. Since its first operation in 2011, more than 87,000 trains have been launched between China and Europe, reaching 222 cities in 25 European countries.
