On May 16-17, 2024, the Construction Machinery Industry Science and Technology Festival co-sponsored by China Construction Machinery Industry Association and Zhejiang University High-end Equipment Research Institute was successfully held in Hangzhou. This science and Technology festival focuses on the theme of "high-end · Intelligent · Green", aiming to stimulate the new momentum of scientific and technological innovation in the construction machinery industry and promote the high-quality development of the industry.

The whole industry chain products and overall solutions of the underground engineering equipment field were presented at the Science and Technology Festival, among which, the innovation achievements of the boring machine, drilling and blasting tunnel construction equipment, mining equipment and other industrial sectors were presented one by one, and the domestic 16m class ultra-large diameter shield machine "Jinghua" attracted everyone to stop.

"Jinghua" was applied to the transformation project of Beijing East Sixth Ring Road. It completed the excavation task on June 28, 2023, and achieved excellent results in the construction process with the maximum daily penetration of 24m and the maximum monthly penetration of 542m, helping China's longest shield expressway tunnel through the first line.

In recent years, as a scientific and technological innovative enterprise, CRHI has closely integrated science and technology with the economy, market-oriented and industrialized innovation results, accelerated the development of new quality productivity, and constantly opened up new fields and new tracks with scientific and technological innovation, shaping new momentum and new advantages for development. Changsha Second Industrial Park of China Railway Construction Heavy Industry has built an internationally leading main bearing production line for boring machines, successfully developed the world's largest 8.61m diameter monolithic main bearing for shield machines, built the world's largest main bearing working condition simulation test bench, and solved the worldwide problem that large-scale low-speed and heavy-duty main bearings are difficult to test and verify.

In the next step, the Railway Construction Heavy Industry will strengthen the integration of resources, promote the technology to enable high-end equipment to "contain wisdom", "contain green" and "contain gold", and make new and greater contributions to the high-quality development of China's high-end equipment industry and Chinese modernization.
