On May 21, 2024, Xuancheng Investment Promotion Bureau released the investment information of "Dongjian Digital sodium electric cell, perovskite heterojunction laminated battery mass production Line Project".

The total investment of the project is about 5 billion yuan, which is implemented step by step according to the "5GWh sodium electric cell +5GWhPack/ integrated +100MW perovskite heterojunction laminated battery pilot line +1GW perovskite heterojunction laminated battery mass production line". Among them, the first phase of the project started the "3GWh sodium electric cell +3GWhPack/ integration +1GW perovskite heterojunction laminate battery mass production line" plant construction project, while starting the "100MW perovskite heterojunction laminate battery pilot line" plant leasing construction project, the total investment of the first phase is about 3 billion yuan, of which the investment of fixed assets is about 1 billion yuan.

The project has now completed a two-way inspection and is in the process of agreeing on an investment agreement.

Sodium-ion battery as a clean energy technology, its application will reduce the consumption of fossil energy and greenhouse gas emissions, help to improve the quality of the environment.
