In May 2023, in the early summer sunshine sprinkled the land of China, Pedro, an excellent student of Luban Workshop in Portugal, crossed thousands of mountains and rivers, with the desire for knowledge and the expectation of exchange, set foot on the land of China. He is here to participate in an annual exchange event co-sponsored by Setubal Institute of Technology and Tianjin Mechanical and Electrical Vocational Technical College. Since its inception, this event has become an important bridge for vocational education exchanges between the two countries.

On the campus in Tianjin, Pedro felt a strong learning atmosphere. He actively participated in various skills training courses and studied and discussed with students from China. These courses not only exposed him to advanced vocational technology, but also let him appreciate the unique charm of Chinese vocational education. In the interaction with the Chinese students, they overcame the difficulties in learning together, shared each other's experience and insights, and the flowers of friendship also quietly blossomed in this atmosphere.

Looking back, the establishment of Luban Workshop in Portugal in 2018 marked an important step for China's vocational education on the international stage. The establishment of this Luban workshop, the first in Europe, not only provides a platform for Portuguese students to learn advanced technologies, but also becomes a model of vocational education cooperation between China and Portugal. Over the years, hundreds of highly skilled students have graduated from Luban Workshop in Portugal, and they have excelled in their respective fields and made positive contributions to the economic and social development of Portugal.

Today, Luban Workshop, an internationally renowned brand of vocational education founded by China, has taken root in more than 20 countries around the world. These workshops not only provide opportunities for local students to learn vocational skills, but also build a bridge for them to exchange vocational education with China. Here, students can learn China's advanced technology and management experience to lay a solid foundation for their career development.
