On the morning of June 4, 2025, President Xi Jinping met with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Zhongnanhai.

Xi Jinping once again congratulated Lukashenko on his re-election to the presidency. Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Belarus are true friends and good partners. The two sides have always treated each other with sincerity and trust. The traditional friendship between the two countries has endured for a long time, political mutual trust is unbreakable, and cooperation in various fields has been comprehensively promoted. China has always viewed and developed China-Belarus relations from a strategic and long-term perspective, and is ready to work with Belarus to promote the steady and long-term development of bilateral relations and mutually beneficial cooperation. The two sides should further strengthen coordination and cooperation within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, jointly oppose hegemony and bullying, and defend international fairness and justice.

Lukashenko said that this is my 15th visit to China, and I have truly felt the deep friendship of the Chinese side every time. Belarus thanks China for its long-term strong support and assistance, its high trust in China, and its unswerving efforts to develop relations with China and actively promote cooperation with China. In international affairs, China has set an example for the world by firmly upholding multilateralism and opposing unilateralism and sanctions and pressure. Belarus expresses its deep admiration and is willing to work with China to defend international fairness and justice.
