Recently, Bengbu City, Anhui Province, ushered in another milestone in the construction of transportation infrastructure. Two important projects, the S313 Toupu to Daxin Section First-Class Highway Reconstruction Project and the G329 Daxin to Mohekou Section First-Class Highway Reconstruction Project, have officially started construction.

The Bengbu to Wuhe First-Class Highway Upgrade and Reconstruction Project is 28.6 kilometers long. As the main national and provincial trunk line in the city, it is designed and constructed according to the standards of first-class highways. Among them, the S313 Toupu to Daxin Section Reconstruction Project is about 18.2 kilometers long. The starting point is located in Toupu Town, passing through Xinji Town, and the end point is connected to Feifu Temple in Daxin Town. This section will be implemented as a two-way four-lane section with a design speed of 80km/h. The roadbed width of the old road widening section is 27.5 meters, the roadbed width of the new section is 25.5 meters, and the roadbed width of the Xinji Town section is 32.5 meters. The total estimated cost of the project is about 933 million yuan.

At the same time, the reconstruction project of the G329 Daxin to Mohekou section was also launched simultaneously. It is about 10.4 kilometers long and connects from Feifu Temple in Daxin Town to Mohekou Town, the end of the project. This section will adopt a two-way six-lane section design, with a design speed of 80km/h and a roadbed width of 33 meters. The total estimated cost of the project is about 703 million yuan.

These two adjacent projects are connected at Feifu Temple in Daxin, and together they constitute an important transportation channel connecting the urban area to Wuhe County.

The start of the Bengbu to Wuhe first-class highway upgrade and reconstruction project marks another solid step for Bengbu City in the development of transportation and the construction of national and provincial trunk lines. Although faced with a series of practical difficulties in the early preparation process, through unremitting efforts and overcoming challenges, the project finally started construction smoothly. It is expected that after completion, it will realize the full connection of the first-class highway from Bengbu City to Wuhe County, further promote the construction of transportation infrastructure, and inject stronger impetus into economic and social development.Editor/Cheng Ting
