Recently, the second batch of wind turbines in the D1 section of the Huaneng Qingyang Wind and Solar Comprehensive New Energy Demonstration Project Phase II contracted by Hebei Engineering Company officially started construction.

The project is located in Huan County, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, with a planned total installed capacity of 2.77 million kilowatts and is divided into six development areas. Among them, the D1 bid section includes the foundation and main installation of 67 wind turbines and the construction of power collection lines, with a wind and solar project capacity of 462 MW. Once completed and put into operation, the annual clean electricity generation will exceed 6.8 billion kilowatt-hours, which can meet the annual electricity consumption of approximately 2.26 million households.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
