Currently, the G7021 Ningwu Expressway Xingan-Ruichang section expressway project is advancing the preliminary bidding and other work.

The starting point of the project is located 850 meters east of the Xinganbei Interchange of Dongchang Expressway in Jiangxi Province, and the end point is the Jiangxi-Hu border of Wuyang Expressway in Yangxin County, Huangshi City, passing through Xingan County in Ji'an City, Zhangshu City, Gao'an City, Fengxin County, and Jingzhou in Yichun City An County, Wuning County and Ruichang City of Jiujiang City are connected to the G7021 Wuyang Expressway that has been completed and opened to traffic. The total length of the route is about 229 kilometers, with a total investment of about 33.6 billion yuan. It is planned to be constructed according to the standard of a two-way four-lane highway with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It is expected to start construction in 2024 and be completed and open to traffic in 2027.

Ningde-Wuhan Expressway, referred to as Ningwu Expressway, is an expressway connecting Ningde City, Fujian Province and Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It starts from Liudu Hub, Qidu Town, Jiaocheng District, Ningde City in the south, and ends at Fozuling Street, Jiangxia District, Wuhan City in the north. Fenghuang Mountain Hub, with a total length of about 925 kilometers, consists of five parts: Ningde to Guangze Expressway, Zixi to Guangze Expressway, Jinxi to Fuzhou Expressway, Dongxiang to Changfu Expressway, and Wuhan to Yangxin Expressway.
