According to KTZ, the national railway company of Kazakhstan, by 2030, more than 180 stations will be modernized to increase transportation capacity. This plan aims to address the growing domestic demand for passenger and freight transportation in Kazakhstan, while increasing cross-border railway capacity and enhancing Kazakhstan's strategic position in the Eurasian logistics network.
