On August 29, 2024, the launch ceremony of the integrated phosphorus coal chemical project in Bijie, Guizhou was held in the Economic Development Zone of Zhijin County, marking the official implementation stage of this highly anticipated "No.1 Project" in Guizhou Province.

The total investment of this project is about 73 billion yuan, and it is planned to construct production facilities with an annual output of 1.5 million tons of iron phosphate, 800000 tons of lithium iron phosphate, 1 million tons of dimethyl carbonate (DMCC), 5 million tons of coking, 500000 tons of coke oven gas to methanol, 800000 tons of synthetic ammonia, and 1 million tons of hydrogen peroxide. The expected annual output value can reach 120 billion yuan.

Since the strategic cooperation agreement was signed between the Guizhou Provincial Government and three enterprises in Guiyang on December 28, 2023, the project has received strong support from the Provincial Party Committee and Government.
