On September 10, 2024, Suohe Street, Caidian District ushered in the grand groundbreaking ceremony of the Vanilla Flower Field Aromatic Industrial Complex Project, which marks a solid step forward in promoting the deep integration and development of agriculture, culture and tourism in Caidian District, and injects fresh vitality into regional economic development.

The project is located in the picturesque Meichi Village, which is a gorgeous transformation and upgrade of the original vanilla flower field project, and is also a highlight project of Wuhan City's carefully built flower viewing tour, which is included in the dazzling list of ten scenic spots in Caidian District. The first phase of the project makes full use of the unique natural villages and original ecological rural landscapes in the local area, with fragrance as the soul, bringing together more than 600 kinds of rare flowers and plants, including roses, lavender, etc., covering more than 1,000 acres of flower fields and more than 300 acres of characteristic fruit and vegetable fields, such as fragrant rice, etc., to ensure the fragrance of flowers and fruits all year round, and to create a dream place for urban residents to stay away from the hustle and bustle and full of European pastoral style.

The project also carefully planned a variety of entertainment experience activities, such as feeling the charm of vanilla, making essential oil soap and aromatherapy lipstick, enjoying the fun of picking, etc., so that tourists can get close to nature while deeply participating and experiencing the unique ecological culture.

The construction of the vanilla flower field aromatic industrial complex project, with an estimated total investment of 120 million yuan, covers an area of 3.27 acres, aims to significantly improve the service quality and carrying capacity of the scenic spot through the construction of modern facilities such as tourist reception centers and research bases, further integrate into the ecological tourism pattern of one mountain and one water in Suohe Street, and promote the development of all-for-one tourism to a higher quality.

Zhou Dandan, general manager of Wuhan Lohas Hui Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd., said with confidence that the project is expected to be successfully completed and put into use by the end of 2025, which will effectively promote the employment of about 200 villagers in the surrounding areas and inject strong impetus into the prosperity of the rural economy.

Suohe Street is actively responding to the call of the four major competitions and ten major projects, focusing on the construction of three major brands of natural hot springs, homestay clusters and suburban ecological tours, and going all out to promote the high-quality process of all-for-one cultural tourism.
