In order to deeply practice the spirit of the Second Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the 6th Party Congress of the Autonomous Region and the 11th Plenary Session of the 2nd Municipal Party Committee, the Gangba County Party Committee and the County Government, with the firm support of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government and the careful guidance of the Municipal Energy Bureau, joined hands with the business community to hold a grand groundbreaking ceremony for the 50 MW grid-connected CSP + 448 MW photovoltaic multi-energy complementary integrated power station project in Kongma Township, 4,700 meters above sea level, on September 10, 2024. The event brought together more than 100 people, including leaders at all levels, department heads, cadre representatives, enterprise representatives and local people, including the county magistrate Cidan, the member of the Standing Committee of the county party committee and the executive deputy county magistrate of the government, and Nima Ouzhu, the chief of the energy management section of the Municipal Energy Bureau.

The project, with a total investment of 2.52 billion yuan, is located near Kongma Township, with a planned area of about 10,067 acres, of which about 150 acres are permanent land. The core construction of the project includes the construction of a 220kV booster station and its supporting 220kV transmission line. In the process of promoting the project, it is expected to create more than 200 employment opportunities, drive labor income of more than 10 million yuan, and bring additional economic benefits to the people of Kongma Township by leasing 10,000 acres of land. The project also actively promoted the employment of 8 college students from Gangba, opening up a new way for local talent training and employment.

The launch of this project is not only a strong catalyst for the economic development of Gamba County, but also a landmark project for the significant improvement of people's livelihood and well-being. It will greatly promote the rapid rise of the clean energy industry in Gamba County, inject new vitality into the structural optimization and upgrading of the county's economy, further consolidate the solid pace of Gamba County on the road of high-quality development, and lay a solid foundation for achieving a more prosperous, green and sustainable future.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
