Recently, the People's Government of Duji District, Huaibei City, Anhui Province officially released a preliminary announcement on the environmental impact assessment of the second phase of the Etna Energy solar cell project, marking the official entry of the project into the public eye.

The content of the announcement clearly pointed out that Etna Energy Technology Co., Ltd. plans to expand the existing production capacity in the Duji Economic Development Zone of Huaibei City and start the second phase of the Etna Energy solar cell project. The core of the project is to add a high-efficiency N-type TOPCon solar cell intelligent production line with an annual production capacity of 1GW, aiming to further enhance the company's production capacity and market competitiveness.

As a key investment attraction achievement in Huaibei City, Etna Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly invested and established by Dalian Hengyi Group, Yingkou Jinchen Machinery Co., Ltd. and Innofu Energy Technology. The company focuses on the R&D, production and sales of second-generation high-efficiency solar cells and innovative building façade solar power photovoltaic modules, and is committed to promoting the innovation and application of green energy technology.

The first phase of Etna Energy's project in Duji District has achieved remarkable results, with a total investment of up to 1.058 billion yuan, covering the construction of 2GW high-efficiency N-type TOPCon solar cells and 1GW BIPV photovoltaic modules, and was successfully put into operation on April 15, 2024, injecting strong impetus into local economic development.
