China's largest megawatt level hydrogen power generation project launches

Recently, the Guangdong Guangzhou Power Supply Bureau of Southern Power Grid, together with top institutions such as Tsinghua University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Jiehe Hydrogen Technology, officially launched a milestone project in the national key project of hydrogen energy technology - the demonstration project of user side fuel cell microgrid integration and grid active support technology. This project focuses on developing the leading 2.5-megawatt level fuel cell microgrid system in China, aiming to take the lead in practice in the core area of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, providing green energy for at least 250 households, and is expected to be effective by 2026.

As a key technological breakthrough, this project aims not only to improve the efficiency of hydrogen power generation and grid flexibility, but also to achieve efficient interconnection and collaborative management of hydrogen, electricity, and heat heterogeneous energy, which is of great significance for promoting the dual carbon goal. As a core force, Jiehe Technology promises to deliver a customized 2.5-MW fuel cell microgrid cogeneration system within one year, covering a complete solution from mechanical integration to on-site implementation, ensuring efficient, safe, and intelligent operation of the system.

Through this demonstration project, the efficiency of fuel cell power generation is expected to soar to 55%, and the comprehensive efficiency of combined heat and power will reach as high as 90%, opening up new avenues for the integration and consumption of new energy and the supply of green hydrogen. Jiehe Technology, with its profound accumulation in the field of fuel cells, has widely applied its products in multiple projects at home and abroad, demonstrating excellent performance and broad application prospects. Its presence can be seen everywhere from Ordos Green Hydrogen Station to Singapore Distributed Power Station, contributing to the green transformation of energy systems and the innovative development of new energy storage technologies.
