[The unveiling of the Beijing Hong Kong R&D Acceleration Center]On September 21, 2024, during the 27th Beijing Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Zhongguancun Beijing Hong Kong Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center established the "Beijing Hong Kong R&D Acceleration Center" and signed research cooperation intention agreements with the first four Zhongguancun science and technology innovation enterprises. On September 21st, during the 27th Beijing Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and Zhongguancun Beijing Hong Kong Macao Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center established the "Beijing Hong Kong R&D Acceleration Center". The "Beijing Hong Kong R&D Acceleration Center" will be located in the Hong Kong Productivity Building, dedicated to gathering top enterprises, scientific research, and talent resources from Beijing, Hong Kong, and Macao. It will focus on joint research and development in key areas such as smart living, aerospace technology, and life sciences, promote the research and development of key core technologies and the transformation of achievements, and enhance industrial competitiveness. Chen Zuheng, Chairman of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, stated that the establishment of the "Beijing Hong Kong R&D Acceleration Center" is another important achievement of the council's integration with the national innovation system, which will promote complementary advantages and collaborative innovation development between Beijing and Hong Kong.
