On September 17, 2024, China Electric Power Construction Corporation's Hydro International Peru Branch officially signed a contract with the Peruvian Social Security Bureau for the renovation project of the Maria Rachel Hospital in the Ica Region of Peru.

The project is located in the center of Macona, Nazca Province, Ica Region, Peru. The construction includes the demolition of some old hospitals and the construction of new hospitals. The new hospital is designed as a second-class comprehensive medical institution that meets current health standards and regulations.
