Carbon dioxide energy storage is a kind of gas-liquid interconversion and two-state cooperative energy storage technology. Its basic principle is to use surplus electricity to compress carbon dioxide gas at normal temperature and pressure into liquid during the low period of electricity consumption, and store the heat generated during the compression process. During peak power consumption, the stored heat energy is used to heat liquid carbon dioxide into gas, driving turbines to generate electricity.
