On October 3, 2024, amidst the roar of excavators, the first shovel of soil flew out, marking the official start of the construction of the Guoxuan New Energy Vehicle Verification and Energy Storage R&D Base project. This project was carefully crafted by Hefei Guoxuan Xuan Yi New Energy Co., Ltd. with an investment of about 1 billion yuan. As a key investment attraction project in Baohe District, it carries the responsibility of promoting the development of new energy vehicles and energy storage technology.

This base mainly serves Guoxuan's verification center and energy storage business research and development center, aiming to carry out diversified product verification business according to the actual needs of industrial chain expansion. At present, its experimental capabilities have covered more than 450 testing projects and involved nearly 70 domestic and foreign standards, demonstrating strong technical strength and testing capabilities.

The project is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Huayuan Avenue and Liaoning Road, covering a vast area of approximately 126.7 acres, with a total construction area of up to 180000 square meters. Standardized factories, supporting auxiliary buildings and other facilities will be built here to provide solid hardware support for the research and verification of new energy vehicles and energy storage technologies.

In the future, the base will fully utilize the regional ecological advantages and scientific research and innovation resources, promote the vigorous development of new energy vehicles and energy storage industries through the co construction of industrial parks, talent exchange and training, and complementary support of the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain.
