Recently, China and the Federal Ministry of Engineering of Nigeria officially signed a construction contract for the Oferekope Road and Bridge Project.

The Oferekope Road and Bridge project is located in the connecting area between Eboni and Cross River states, spanning both sides of the Cross River. It includes a newly built two-way two lane bridge and its extension, with a total length of 1.86 kilometers. After the completion of the project, the bridge will become the only transportation link connecting the upstream and downstream areas of the Cross River within a hundred kilometers, greatly enhancing the smoothness of transportation between the two states and providing great convenience for residents' daily travel and cargo transportation.
